I first saw this back in youth, and have never changed my first impression...witty, excellent dialogue, great cast, and wonderfully sardonic as the Vietnam War was running on American television.

I love this film. A great cast. A good story. I know it's "off", and haven't figured out why , it's just inches from being a classic. Stick with it and your kids will be enthralled. And the adults will enjoy the dialogs.

Love this movie. Really wish Denzel could have made a series from it. Underrated only because it came out on a weekend where another blockbuster was dropped.

Really enjoyed all of this. Casting of characters was perfect. Writing was sophisticated and lol funny. Really didn't want this to end!!
