What can I say about the absolute perfect series? From the amazing chemistry between Jisoo and Jung Hae in, to the nail biting tension induced with the tight plot, to the impeccable editing of the storyline which keeps you hooked on till the last scene, every bit was perfect. Each an every actor slayed their role to the T. Snowdrop managed to give every character a back story so intricately, it all winds up smoothly in the end. You feel the story heading in a particular direction...and the end of each episode manages to shock you out without fail! As a fan of mushiness and romance, this series made me want for more. As a lover of thrillers, this series matched every expectation of mine...and then raised it up! A must watch for anyone!🤩

I've recently begun my journey into the world of kdramas and Extraordinary You is the 5th series that I've watched. To say it's a romantic drama does it the least justice. An absolutely unique plotline, this drama makes you want to jump into the series and get the main characters (or not so main; hehe spoiler alert) together as fast as possible. The chemistry between Rowoon and Kim Hye-yoon is off the charts! They bring in the perfect blend of romance, light-hearted fun and bursts of happiness. Quite honestly I did dislike Baek Kyung's character and wanted him to disappear as effectively as the writer could do for so many characters. I checked out a few behind the scenes, and Lee Jae-wook is lovely! That just shows how amazing of an actor he is. Special mentions to Jung Gun-joo and Lee Tae-ri! They had perfectly summed roles! Just wish they both had their own happy endings. Hoping for a season 2!! 🤩 Fun fact: there's a blink and you miss overlap between True Beauty and Extraordinary You....if you know, you know😉

One of the most touching and simultaneously hilarious series I've come across. True Beauty artfully depicts the psychological damage teenage bullying and loss can have on young minds. It manages to alleviate the despair and grief with perfectly timed rom-com cliches. No matter how many times you've come across these scenes in other series, this one will get you gasping for breath with laughter. The romantic entanglements of the main and supporting characters keeps you entertained through the very end. A highly recommended must watch 😁

Firstly, Cha Eun-woo has made me eternally weak for the silent, romantic male lead character!!! If True Beauty had you vacillating between Team Su-ho and Team Seo-joon, My ID is Gangnam Beauty makes you want to scream from the first episode for him to win his ladylove! This series takes you through the harrowing experience of how bullying can destroy someone. Kang Mi-rae completely wins me over for being able to stand to the end despite of the absolute misery she's put through. She literally is perfect, and still the people she comes across are rotten to the core to not let her catch a break! She and DKS play out the perfect innocent love that changes your world in your teens. I absolutely loved their chemistry, their portrayal of being hesitant of opening up and simultaneously protecting each other😍 Jo Woo-ri showcased her amazing acting prowess! The fact that her character manipulates almost every single person she comes across, while looking like an angel; but being shy in real life, is absolutely amazing! 🤩 All in all, each character seems to end on a positive note! The fact that makes me love this series even more: there's plenty of BTS background music!!!❤️❤️
