Apple doesn't trust its audience enough to give them the real story and wrecked a visually stunning presentation with an inaccurate story that they think is more woke or politically correct than Asimov's version. Or maybe it's just about money! I read Foundation and Dune as a teenager. The new Dune movie made me cry with fulfillment during some scenes. So far Foundation just makes me angry! I'm half way through episode 7, so I am trying to like it.
