Elton’s music is the soundtrack to my life. Play a song and I’ll tell you where I was and what I was doing. This movie uses his music and Bernie Taupin’s lyrics to tell the story of young Reginald Dwight’s life and transformation into Elton John. A sad and emotionally charged story told through wonderful acting(love young Elton) and creatively choreographed musical numbers interspersed in a logical sequence truly moves the story along and entertains simultaneously. Taron Egerton does a wonderful job embracing the essence of Elton and he truly gave a believable portrayal of the legend, the icon that is Elton John-many warts and all. Highly recommend!!!!!!!
