The acting was good cuz it had a good cast. However, the story dragged n to me was not believable. I will only make one major critique; Oscar Isaac's character Sgt Kane survived from the infected area but was bleeding from hus mouth. There would be no way that the next expedition team would go into the infected area without hazmat suits to protect them from biological threats. This happened early on in the movie. I should have stopped watching it to the end. Waste of 2 hours or so of my life.
