Fans giving this any more than 3 stars are far too easily entertained. I envy them! How nice it must be to enjoy a Star Wars show without actually noticing how poorly it has been crafted. The lacking attention to detail of the Star Wars universe is unbelievable. Kenobi using the civilian as a body shield to avoid getting shot? Even a scene as simple as this goes against the entire Jedi code and everything Obi-Wan lived and trained for. As if those behavioural pattens would change! This is just one example of a cascade of scenes throughout merely eps 1-3 that surely make any genuine Star Wars fan facepalm. Don’t get me started on the shallow villains, poor dialogue and lacklustre scenes. It’s as if this creative team hasn’t even seen the prequels!!! Where’s the attention to detail!? Clearly pushing political agendas with such a racially diverse cast …. All from earth …that doesn’t exist in the Star Wars world… It’s a galaxy far far away ….how about aliens as other characters??? Too woke. Star Wars is a beautiful escape from the world - not a constant reminder of it! So thanks for that. Even Vader’s presence and general nostalgia won’t save this series. …but Ewan’s acting and little Leia make this a 2 star review instead of 1. Mando was phenomenal and Rogue One was fantastic - why didn’t you take notes or use the same creative team/s??? Disney keeps delegating the creation of these shows to teams as if they are school projects. “Good luck kids do your best.” Thanks for ruining Star Wars. I’ll try to remain optimistic.
