What a heartfelt movie about true friendship! Not everyone is blessed to find this. I felt genuinely scared for her safety in many of those towns..without Will she would have had a different reaction. I hope it did give Harper strength to venture out but it is so sad that the reality is she has to be cautious. Im from Hawaii where trans is prevalent in the Polynesian culture, so our kids aren't raised with that kind of hate. The ignorance is so infuriating to me! I hope Harper finds the peace and happiness that society has robbed her from!
