Love it! I've been very happy with most all of the remastered/remake versions of games out lately, though admittedly never having played the originals of some of them, including this one. I had just finished the resident evil 2 remake on ps5, and it was great to be able to just pop right over and into Alan Wake remake on the monthly plus giveaway

Knowing how a fairly-assigned 1-star rated game feels to me, I have difficulty imagining how this many people gave it a 1. This game easily looks and plays (for hours and hours) like a 5 to me. It"s a colossal project seen through, and I haven't even come close to finishing it yet.

It is difficult for me to understand how this incredibly rich experience of a game could be given a rating of 6 out of 10 by some of these professional gaming critics appearing so prominently at the top of the reviews page. The originality alone warrants nothing less than a 10 in my assessment. It's a real treasure.
