I watched this movie in 1974 when I was 12 years old it was so moving and so real as told by my mother and my grandmother who had to endure great prejudice he washed it in class which was incredible and I remember being moved and motivated to fight for civil rights because of this movie I think every every school no matter where in the country should have this movie as a part of the history curriculum
