TJ Gnanavel, in trying to balance the craft and superstar aspect has stuffed in lot of things, end up making an ordinary movie. Performers like Amitabh Bachchan & Manju Warrier etc have been wasted. Even writing of Fafa became predictable/one dimensional at one point (he resembled Arya's character from Aarambam). Rana comes as an usual "corporate villian" which we have witnessed in number of movies. Didn't have any impact. Justice Chandru's communist views are well known and just like in Jai Bhim, TJ Gnanavel tried to repeat this agenda driven - in an outdated film. Disappointed.
