Mia Richins – Google

As much as I love Tui and her writing, this is by far the weakest book in the series. Luna character and personality is completely butchered and now she’s a nervous dragon not wanting to cause trouble?!? And Luna is in a cave the whole half of the book. I’m usually so exited to read her new books, but I found myself dragging through this one….. I think what went wrong was changing the villain. Wasp was an established character and we feared her… this cottonmouth (what kind of a name is that?!?) has like no development ever. We don’t see that he’s dangerous. We’ve only heard of stuff he’s done. Thousands of year ago. THAT DOES NOT COUNT! I try to keep an open mind about all perspectives….. but we have to talk about the political undertones. I feel that that’s maybe the reason they changed Luna character a bit, so she could better represent the undertones as an emotionally traumatized victim. I guess I’m disappointed that the politics came first instead of the writing….i guess I’m just a bit disappointed. Tui was able to include lgbtq content in her work on the second arc, and the plot was great… I guess now her priorities go to representation instead of a worthy plot….. I’m exited for arc four, but also scared . The bar is set very low now and I find myself looking forward to more graphic novels of my favorites from the first two arcs..):

Ok so I have thoughts. My brothers have been looking forward to this movie for a long time. Paw patrol isn’t really my generation, but I enjoyed it. J like how the first movie was about chase, and how this one was about sky. It makes me wonder what the new 2026 movie will focus on…(I hope Zuma or Rocky?) The new villain is ok and I wish they would just get rid of humdinger. I cant take them seriously I liked the action scenes but there were a few unrealistic factors -how could sky attack a meteor and not die if she can only fly as doesn’t have super strength? And how did we end up with six crystals instead of five? I thought there were five in the beginning -also how could the mad scientist fly? - also how could they breath of the jet door was open and they didn’t blow up from the jet turbo spinner thngey So mostly great but really it would make the movie more fun and gripping if you had the facts right… more real Here are some concerns -liberty called sky her favorite pup miltiple times in front of everyone! I’m front of the whole paw patrol! You can still support girl power and not be mean. -a subtle trans flag in the credits… only thing I saw but I hear there some weird stuff in the construction episodes but not in the movie Overall very woke free - Kim kardashian? Really? Idk just a bit….. - WHERE IS EVEREST -Rocky’s animation is ok -Marshal looks skinny -why did u give sky a cape???? My like: -Great action! Zuma finally got some attention! -Cool animation. -Thank you for not making sky fly in a big pink Tornado -thank you for having them work together Overall a good watch and I look forward to the next movie! Even if we have to wait three years for it…..
