I found the film to be quite terrible. It appeared to have a strong agenda of promoting acceptance of bisexual individuals while portraying the idea that harboring hatred leads to a life of sorrow. Furthermore, the film seemed to be pushing the notion that parents should tolerate their children's negative behavior.
