I’m very disappointed in the series. Anyone who read that masterpiece knows the plot was not only deviated from, it was butchered. I can’t imagine the author had any control over this production. However, if you can forget the book completely, and just want to see an entertaining WW2 series, on a scale of 1-10, I’d give it a 9. Point off for overdone saccharine to balance the depiction of Nazi extremism.
