I do not even want to give a one star rating for SNL. I am In total shock, and heartsick over the 5/7/22 episode where Kate McKinnon played Supreme Court Justice Amy Coney Barrett regarding the Roe vs. Wade possible overturn decision. To make fun and be so flippant about abortion, no matter which side you’re on, is taking comedy to such a despicable low level. It’s an emotional and traumatic issue on both sides. Trying to make people laugh in skits about dropping off unwanted babies once abortion is illegal at everywhere from Ferris wheels to mailboxes. To saying “What is “more traumatic?” “Safely ending an early pregnancy or giving full birth to a baby you can never see again because you put it on a Ferris wheel?” I found this line to be the most offensive, “I don’t understand why you need abortion because you can leave a baby anywhere in the United States. So, like, what’s the big deal? Just plop it,” she said. “Just do the nine and plop.” Do “your nine, leave it on the sidewalk. Wrap it up like a little Moses, put it in a little basket, send it down the creek. ... It’s simple,” McKinnon said. I am still in shock that SNL feels there is no standard of decency on subject matter. I hear enough views on this issue and others in the news, podcasts, social media etc. I personally don’t need or want to hear SNL’s views played out in a comedy skit.

I used to ENJOY GMA, and gave it a try again this morning. Sadly, after watching George again in an interview regarding President Trumps Covid illness I turned to OAN News. Once again inventing a story out of nothing and degrading every approach the Doctors are taking to treat the President, is sickening to watch. Has it ever occurred to any of the main stream news networks, that maybe you could give the American peoples ability to wade through the True FACTS and make an intelligent decion? We do not continually want to be fed your agenda for us!

I just read your article announcing the President and Melania contracting Covid. How distressing and sad it is that you use this situation to continue your attacks on our President. Could you not let up for one moment to show some type of concern for them? In my opinion, there are times when certain situations like contracting Covid should produce concern for our Presidents health and recovery, not another opportunity to lash out at him.

I think there is a better mix of views now more than ever in the panel of ladies. I appreciate that they’ve stopped talking all at once. There was a time when I couldn’t understand any of them because they constantly talked over each other. That said, I was very disappointed in today’s episode. I felt Whoopi was very disrespectful towards Megan McCain in shutting her down and not allowing her to finish what she was trying to say. You have to practice what you preach Whoopi. Megan does come from a conservative background and you need to listen to her point of view and not shut her down when you don’t like what she’s saying.
