There was a lot I had to forgive with this game. Map design was lack luster, menu navigation is really bad, story was boring, pretty much all companion story lines used exactly the same template (they thought one thing about a person that mistreated them but it turned out that the person really liked them after all), dodging attacks sometimes didn't work because the attack would still track you even when the enemy was swinging the weapon to mention just a few.
There is one thing I can not forgive though. I had to leave the game away from the mistle (think bonfire in dark souls) only the game hadn't saved for quite a while before that. I have lost loads of time just because the game did not make it clear when the last save was. Why it does not save the game when exiting is beyond me. With so much bad design in the game this was just too much. Punishing the player because they had to leave the game is unforgivable.
