Joseph Hurley

I am flummoxed to understand the positive reviews of this pedestrian novel. The writing strikes me as being on a ‘low school’ level and the dialogue between characters is mostly idiotic. The petty jealousies seem to spontaneously appear without meaningful merit. I don’t remember reading a more overrated book than this one.
