This is a great book! It takes you back to a time when women were expected to stay "in their place"! I felt myself glued to this historical story and felt such a connection with these women. I could not put this book down and was sad when it came to an end. History and romance....i felt like I was right there in the middle of this story. Its amazing what women went through and still go through to some extent. Highly would recommend this book!

I absolutely love this series! It's refreshing to have a middle age hero and they are so well written. I have read all eight books and can't wait for #9 to be released. It's amazing how she makes you fall in love with these characters and then there are some truly laugh out loud funny parts too. I highly recommend the entire series and guarantee you won't be disappointed.
