Brilliantly made TV. Hunting and yet captivating. Superb acting by the lead , subtle but very affective. The series is well paced, taking it's time to walk you through Dahmer's crimes in an effort to try and make you understand his disturbed logic and what led him to have such bizarre sexual tendencies. It also gives us the other side of the story in showing us the consequences and horrific pain he caused to people's lives. A fascinating human study.

Boring, slow paced and tedious. It takes an age for the story to play out. It feels like 40 minutes go by with absolutely nothing of note happening, then you notice it's only been 5 minutes and you wonder if anything is ever going to happen. Each episode only has a small progression of plot, which is teased out over the course of a painful 40 minutes. I wish I could say the acting was enough to keep me entertained but ironically the delivery of dialogue seems to send me into a coma like sleep. Terrible casting, awful acting. What a waist of time. I really enjoyed "good omens" so I had high hopes for this. Unfortunately, I didn't enjoy it at all. The only good thing I can say about it is that the costume and set design is great. But that's it. Poor show. Plus, why is everyone gay? Not very realistic.
