A lot of the negative reviews are missing the point. I thought it was a well thought out interpretation of the stories in the game series. Watching the cast interviews and interactions, it’s obvious they all truly enjoyed making it. The dynamic between them, the support and respect they show for each other, is unlike most of what we see these days. It was really refreshing, and brought a smile to my face every time. (Watch the cast trailer reaction video to get a sense of what I mean). It was a fun and visually awesome. It knew what it needed to be, and didn’t overdo it. Bottom line - if you have read bad reviews, look at the Google rating. (Over 80% positive as of now). It’s better than some would have you think.
