I agree with the people that give this movie 5 stars, and I have been looking forward to this movie ever since they announced it and i was hoping for a 5 star movie hands down. The 4 (4.5 if i could) stars is probably because i hyped it up so much in my head that it couldn't deliver no matter what.
If you are looking for batman with a gadget and tool for every scenario, go watch the dark night trilogy. If you want the best batman fight scene, go back and watch the BVS warehouse scene. I wanted more sneaky and more fight scenes and more brutality and more gadgets and the tumbler and.... I was expecting the most brutal batman with all his gadgets to ever hit the big screen, and that was my down fall.
But if you want a very realistic batman movie with realistic tools, showing a batman that is very reserved and observant and on the verge of becoming the worlds greatest detective, and portrays his internal pains and mental distress and depression while he tries to come to terms with his past and everything that is happening around him; if you are looking for a mystery movie that has character development with action, then go see this movie.
I could definitely see this being a younger Ben Aflec's version of batman, long before he lost hope and activated insta kill.
I understand the critisisms and arguments of the people that give this movie one and two star reviews, but they went in wanting to see a completely different movie than what they saw.
