Department S was a must watch show. My favourite episode was 'Last train to Redbridge'. Acting from the Trio Peter Wyngarde, Rosemary Nicols and Joel Fabiani was superb and natural. I was only twelve years of age but I was infatuated with this thriller and even now in my 60's I get the desire to watch old episodes. It has not lost it's charm. I heard that Rosemary was unhappy with the role but nothing on the screen suggested that at all. She certainly contributed enormously to the show.
