An ok work of period fiction. It’s entertainment, not a documentary. So yes they took some liberties so more people could identify with it. I laugh all the negative reviews about the “the great experiment” and the casting of black actors in roles. Next time you look at a portrayal of Jesus with blue eyes and straight hair, be reminded of your hypocrisy.

Bad timing on their part - trading on stereotypes - the Hispanic drug kingpin, the Black thug hitman, the out-of-control, hot-tempered, Hispanic central character. And you might think Provincetown is a crime-infested slum the way it is portrayed vs. a very popular tourist town. Bad portrayals all around.
