Watched the movie after seeing some glowing reviews and a "Cannes" certificate attached to it..Found it to be a very a pretentious effort inspite of impressive technical aspects..a very forced attempt at "protest art" (borrowing the words of the movie's reviewer in The Hindu) with most characters fleshed out in a very patchy way, a meandering script going nowhere quite like the directors web series Tabbar..The only constant was some voiceover coming at regular intervals in the backgound as some kind of news reportage in the movie juxtaposed with the daily struggle of the main lead character..Seemed more like a desperate attempt to tarnish the current political dispensation than any serious attempt at filmmaking..No suprises that the only reviews online were in The Hindu and Quint..get the drift!!!
