Good Movie. If a person watches the movie knowing the story or History of Chola & Pandya's then he will understand & enjoy the movie. Vikram & Karthi steal the show with their performance.More war scenes could have satisfied many, as people watch period movies for War scenes. Trisha & Aishwarya rai scenes are very good. 2nd Half Ship fight scene is Very good. VFX is too Good.
People should not compare PS1 with Bahubali. Bahubali is an imagination story & PS is real one. Also Bahubali is more of VFX & PS is shot in actual Forts. It is as same as earlier Maniratnam movies where has always shown nature beauty than VFX or Artificial one's.
Different experience from a Great movie.
