Andrew Wanner

Set in 1957, Mrs. Harris is a widow in London. She has had a tough life, but continues to have dreams, one of which is to buy a Dior dress. Though some setbacks, then wonderful luck, she goes to Paris to buy. Dior is struggling with cash flow as everyone buys on credit, but the spunky charwoman is paying in cash, endearing her to the Dior employees. Most of the Paris scenes are actually filmed in Budapest; the scenery is awesome despite an ongoing trash collection strike. This film makes you feel good about life!
