Michael Bay.... you're killing me. While the action was great, the storyline was... awful. Beyond awful. There were so many things wrong with this movie, I wouldn't know where to start. 😅 Sorry for the spoiler for a scene here (stop reading if you haven't seen it yet, and still plan to for some reason)... But at the final showdown in front of the hospital with 8,000 cops with guns, what cop had the bright idea to escort one of the criminal's wife and babies to the scene?? Just...no. It was worth a laugh, I guess....

Oh dear lord...someone needs to teach the writers and directors about character development. LITERALLY none. Yes, it had characters but none had any depth. It's nearly impossible to form any kind of connection to the characters even though there are all kinds of highs and lows, action sequences, attempts at humor. I spent $5 streaming this on Amazon...do yourself a favor and don't waste your time or money. Update: I just saw the best clip of the movie around the 1:41 mark. Some random character fires a shoulder mounted rocket and takes out an alien spaceship mid air...then, he turns to the camera and fist pumps with a huge smile on his face! Rad! Totally worth the $5 now. Mission accomplished.
