The concept for Encanto was so good, I watched it as soon as it came out on Disney plus with my family! However, the movie itself was sort of a letdown. It was too rushed, especially the ending. Also, there was basically no plot. The plot kind of changed throughout the movie, which was expected, as the movie is extremely predictable. The graphics were pleasing to the eye and it was overall a cute movie, but it did not impress. I wish they expanded more on Abuela's story and also how Encanto came to be because it didn't make a lot of sense. I would've also liked to see the reason why Mirabelle didn't get a gift. Needs more character development, as well. Pretty boring when she just stays at her house. There should've been a quest, maybe even with Bruno. On that note, the songs were cute, especially the song about Bruno, which was really, in my opinion, good!

Watched it with my dad and my siblings a while ago, and we binge-watched the entire thing. It was so good! Honestly, I wish the seasons had more episodes, but I see why there's a limit to the number of episodes. Currently waiting for s4!! I definitely would recommend it if you liked the older karate kid trilogy, or if you like comedy!
