Last night‘s episode showed seemingly sporadic mindless violence with horrendous results for two lovely humans. It was remarkable in showing the horror of the incidence without showing details of the brutal beatings. It was acted out so expertly that it was breathtakingly emotive. It felt very real without showing the blow by blow account and the way it was filmed was so effective in making it entirely believable. There was something so sinister about that incited, thoughtless comparatively harmless first strike that it chilled me. Well done to the script writers and actors for their bravery in bringing this very real issue into the comfortable settings of our living rooms and definitely leaving us with much to consider.
