I am not a big Beyonce fan, but I thoroughly enjoyed "Black is King". The fact that it was told in the story line of the Lion King made it that much more touching. As a black woman, it made me feel proud and majestic; like a direct descendent from a Royal bloodline. I love that Beyonce incorporated her family members and friends in the film, and it didn't feel like it was all about her. She proudly displayed the talents of other performers. Although the film was in the works for a little over a year, the time of the release couldn't be more appropriate. Great job, Mrs. Carter. Great job! 👏👏👏
