I’ll start off by saying The Wire is my favorite tv show, to say this of the same caliber is laughable. The acting is terrible, the timeline jumping is hard to follow & the politics incredibly heavy handed. The plot line w/ the civil rights attorney is beyond boring & also a completely made up. The wire handled tough topics & the relationship between the BPD & the people of Baltimore with out coming off as preachy. Also so funny how they blame the right or trump for a city that’s been ran my democrats for decades (including Nancy Pelosis family) & love how they clearly said to who ever was in charge of casting to make sure we get someone who looks like Derek Chauvin to play Hersel. This is what happens when politics come before story as this has the potential to be great.
