Quite a pervert Vetrimaran must be and how utterly sadistic. The violence and gore and the abuses seem to lit him with so much thrill and delight and lots of fulfillment especially showing women being brutally harmed (where he could've avoided showing certain shots from camera...many seems really deliberate and specific)and already with a big hole in the plot (no one has seen the villain or say the rebel leader for years and then in one night's thrashing we've a picture of him ready) Viduthalai is just a boring, lethargic, mediocrity-driven (the choice of actors and their dumb pre-historic characterizations) film all the way...with nothing to revel or feel astonished or wonder at or cherish. Music has no soul or fibre or fire. A big let down.
