Sanju, revolves around the dramatic life of the bollywood star Sanjay Dutt starring Ranbir Kapoor as Sanju. It starts with Sanju trying to find a 0writer to pen down his life and bring the truth before the public. After a "DESI" writer fails him he goes on to meet a renowned writer Winnie (Anushka Sharma), and narrates his life to her before surrendering to the police. The story continues and brings out every truth in Sanju's dramatic life.
