If I could give it 0 stars i would, do not watch… horrible acting, story was so predictable. So much so that my boyfriend and I were able to predict almost every major plot point, and there really wasn’t many. None of the actors were likable, the main two characters past or present had no chemistry, and you couldn’t actually get connected to anyone in the film, outside of the old man (Tuck), but Tuck being so integral is treated almost like an after thought in this movie. The ending is indeed sad, but it’s obviously sad, and you can’t really be sad about characters you have no care for, and a penultimate ending that you know was going to happen. also p.s. everybody, the time period was so off. this move makes absolutely no effort to bring you back to 1992, which is crazy, because it wasn’t that long ago, not like this thing was set during the renaissance. this was a very hard watch and kind of funny when it really wasn’t supposed to be. there are scenes of parental abuse to their child, that is so poorly done, it’s laughable. please reconsider taking the two hours you intend to spend watching this movie, and go take a nap.
