Trese has its strong points and weak points. There were moments when I wanted more fleshing out of characters and some deeper digging into the lore of the monsters and mythical creatures. Animation was above average (at least to my taste) but there were frames that looked exquisite. Overall, Trese felt rushed. I wanted more episodes. But, the show never fails to entertain. I am still excited to see a second season.
