To preface my review, I have to mention that I am not a regular anime-watcher at all. I've only watched Saiki K for the comedy and didn't think that this would be my cup of tea. But I stumbled across an edit of this anime on Tiktok and the visuals were mindblowing. I had never seen anything like it. Which obviously made me watch this show right after seeing that edit, and I can tell you I am over the moon with how good it is. I went in with 0 expectations, curious of the story, but mostly there for the CGI and characters. And let me tell you, this is such a good anime, the CGI is incredible and literally every single shot is so pretty 100% recommend. but not only does it have visual appeal, it also has a very good plot and manga worth reading no matter how depressing it will be... the characters are also so lovable and I especially like Rutile <3 I've been up watching edits and Googling what happens in the Manga, and all I can say is that this deserves so much more attention than it's getting! Please watch this so if it blows up maybe the author will come out of hiatus and give the manga a happy, full ending and more seasons of this anime will be greenlit and released! If you think you've seen good animation or CG in anime, you're in for a treat with this one. I guarantee it's like nothing you've seen before!! The pace of the story is good, and the team did an amazing job with the soundtrack. I don't know much about anime but this is definitely goated! Also their English dub is pretty good too!! Which speaks volumes about how well put-together this is
