Honestly, I had much higher hopes for this book since I’m a long time James Patterson fan. I question if he even read this book let alone had a hand in writing it. Every aspect of it is superficial from the case development, the character development and the dialogue. Perhaps a teen readership might be a better target audience assuming they know who the original detectives were.
