I loved it. I was born in The City, in The Mission in the mid ‘60’s. Grew up in the ‘70’s in this glorious place. The sights and the constant sounds of the fog horns and seagulls made me smile throughout the whole movie. I could almost smell that glorious salt air… Those beautiful faces of the African American community with all their SF tats, earrings, Giants gear, Saweet pimp hat and chains felt so authentic… The entire movies’ sway made me long for the home I grew up in, that I know is no longer there… Thank you for this work of art, you all brought tears of joy to this old San Franciscan showing me the beauty of the architecture I used to fall asleep being lulled by… All those beautiful ladies, there’s no place like home…
