Hand in hand with dreams, symbols, nature.
Being a young franco-Canadian transcendental thinker , i found a sense of familiarity with the representations brought from these stories.
Though select few have marked me like « Mooin and the seven hunters » , and tales of European cranes caught in war fields despite their total innocence. Tragedy, insight, understanding just a bit more of what you thought you knew very well.
And the owl will be there when the hours are darkest ;
This is a form of liberty in itself which bring us very close to birds , in a way that conventional modern science and study will always fall short.
Alas, though these stories contrast the very first instances of bird books in most of our experience perhaps; it enables the individual to see deeper into their relationship with birds, or their ideas of what the meaning is for them.
Regardless of where one begins, you will find that no matter where we seem to end up in life :
the passing of an « avian » bird over your head and shoulder is surely a sign that you are in a place that has life and movement.
Now to look back down a while… hehe
