if you are not well read, you likely will be impressed with this movie. Costumes and battle scenes are recreated in stunning large scale fashion. However, this movie simply does not do justice to one of the great leaders in our history. Napoleon, like Julius Caesar and Alexander The Great, changed the world in many positive ways, than simply his militarily conquests. So much left out, leaving one simply underwhelmed. Napoleon was too grand to be portrayed in this narrow manner. This is a brutally bad adaptation. Not recommended.
