Genuinely one of my favorite albums of all time. It's horrific, mesmerizing, tragic, and beautiful all at the same time. It combines so many different styles and genres to create something that can only be described as a masterclass in the music industry. Every song is so powerful with its lyrics and instrumentals-- especially the Mind Electric, which truly makes you feel like you are *inside* the mind of someone who is having their sanity forcibly torn away from them; its reversed music of agony and desperation is horrific in all the right ways. This album will make you feel calm one moment, delighted the next, horrified and haunted the next, and saddened the next. Hawaii: Part II is so visceral, and I wish I could listen to it for the first time again.
