Jacob Stout

This was a very good movie, it fit the new norm of the damsel is fully capable of taking care of herself. Not amazing, you could see most of the plot lines a mile away, but a very well put together movie where the protagonist needs to figure out how to overcome their situation.

It was ok, it just didn't keep my interest. It felt slow for the most part, and the lead felt flat. I really liked the character of Maya in Hawkeye, but this series she seems more like a deer in headlights, and mostly giving the same expression for every mood/feeling. I did really like how they tied in the ancestry in each episode. It would have been nice to maybe flesh that out more. The fights were ok, they just felt like the crew didn't have enough time to do them properly. Overall it was ok, but not sure I will rewatch like some of the other Marvel TV shows.
