This movie is essential viewing for anyone who wants to experience the heights of human achievement in the face repeated setbacks and the powerful emotions that come from bringing untold stories to life through cinema well-done. Something to be said for the acting here, from Kartik A, to Vijay raaz, to the child actor (Ayan Khan), Rajpal Y, Shreyas T, Aniruddh Dave – *each one carried the audience along.* I did enjoy Maidaan and to some extent Sam Bahadur, but inspite of everything being so slick with great acting etc., there was somewhere an emotion that felt missing in biopic movies, off late. In Chandu Champion the chronology within a biopic did not over power the emotion of story telling. And thats what I enjoyed most about this movie. Its a very enjoyable watch!
