I’ve been a Mary Poppins fan for as long as I can remember and was excited to see the movie. I preordered it to come in on dvd release date. My kids and I loved it... however there was way too much Lin Manuel Miranda! My 8 year old asked if he was the main character because she thought Mary Poppins was supposed to be. There was way too much of him, and he took the focus off of Mary Poppins in my opinion. The actor cast as Michael didn’t seem believable in the role. Other than that, the movie was great! Meryl Streep was a surprise treat!! Dick Van Dyke revising his role as the bank exec was the icing on the cake! Best part of the whole movie!!
