What a great book! The story of Waywayseecappo and Rossburn in Manitoba is told through the lives of some of its people is a must read for anyone who wants to understand more about the history of settler and indigenous relations in Canada.
It was this month's selection for my men's bookclub (Average age 70ish). It went a long way to change our views on indigenous issues. It is a tough read while remaining cautiously optimistic about the future.
