Kingston’s voice in capturing her own childhood/adolescent and adult self as well as the beautiful tapestry she weaves of her mother’s plan to show up for the big events in her life after death create an absolute page turner. The story is sad and beautiful and hopeful all at once. The author’s gift of sharing it with the world will truly have an impact on the reader. This one stays with you!
