As a former dance band member, I think this entire series from 1930-Into the 50s' is the greatest rendition of of Swing Music in a modern recording format. The original charts, where extant, were used and those no longer existing were transcribed from the original recordings (which are no longer much fun to listen to). To top the modern recording studio aspect--the original performers when still living, including vocalists were utilized. When necessary then current artists were used. The arrangements showcase the artistry of these great performances. This should be an essential part of any Swing aficionado's collection.
