I love the host Retta, but what I don't get or like is that usually the winner's home is NOT the ugliest. They might need some work or new paint or editing furniture but there have been much worse homes that could have won and used the renos. They always seem to have a winner with an unusual home, but it doesn't make it ugly. I would like it better if they find a home winner in the middle of nowhere and a needed family.
