I found it delightful. Made me think of Angela Lansbury in Murder She Wrote (which was low keyed in the 80's), the hint of the literature with murder. Fast forward about 40 years, have a literary professor retire, then get bored, and find other things to do in life so 2022 brings it to a sharp witty drama. Jane Seymour is great and Rohan Nedd would make any grandparent proud. The family dynamics probably makes this so good. As a grandparent, I have talked with my grandkids in a similar manner as Harry and Fergus do. You would never talk that way in the 70s and 80s. And add references to literature we have all had some exposure to depending on the curriculum we had in school, we can relate to what the kids are studying. Also the reminders of the student still needing to get class work done makes it more real.
