The movie is amazing SPOILER ALERT, and for the people that didn't understand the ending, he showed a couple of times in the movie, that he is not bothered by the fire so as every single person in that room, and that's why, they just sat there when they were on fire or why they didn't run when they had the chance. Because they all wanted to be part of the menu.
