If I could give zero stars I would. This is only the second movie in my long life that I have walked out of (in the middle of the second “act”). I don’t know anything about this weirdo director but wouldn’t even contemplate seeing any of his other movies. It was over 100 degrees in Vegas so the movies were a cool refuge. I would have preferred sun poisoning. Avoid this movie at all costs.

My wife and I are big tennis fans and we really disliked this movie, especially the ambiguous ending. In a word, it’s “The Emperor’s New Clothes “ (ok, four words). Unrealistic plot, bad tennis strokes, bad acting, bad casting (sorry to be mean but how can Zendaya’s mother not be good looking?) It was a Wednesday afternoon but we were the only two in the theatre. Not enough reviews like mine out there. If you’re not a tennis fan, stay away. If you are a tennis fan, go out to dinner with your non-tennis friends.
